Central control of all LED modules in the mountain region
The electronic CPS control system enables cable car companies to manage all LED modules on the panorama information systems, access portals, piste guidance systems, freeride checkpoints, park guidance systems and the LED video walls in their area centrally, conveniently and in real time.
Hardware: The outdoor units of the CPS network, which are attached directly to the information and control systems, can be controlled by any number of hardware stations (industrial PC, cell phone) regardless of the media, without the need for additional software installation. In addition, the weather-resistant and robust components ensure long-lasting and reliable functionality even in high alpine mountain regions.
Software: From status displays for lifts/slopes, weather data and avalanche danger levels to ticker texts and the moving content of the LED video walls - all data and information for display on the LED modules can be managed easily and efficiently with the CP-LED software. The software, which was developed by feratel around 30 years ago for the central and convenient control of information and guidance systems in mountain regions, offers a user-friendly interface as well as user rights management, with which each user can only view the information relevant to them and control the corresponding LED modules in a targeted manner. This keeps operation clear, simple and safe. Circuits and processes for controlling the LED modules can also be automated, which increases their efficiency. In addition, all switching operations are logged and archived, which is not only legally relevant, but also enables statistical evaluation for process optimization.
Transmission technology: Various transmission paths can be used to control the information and control systems: a standard web browser via the company's own LAN network, GSM mobileradio, telephone line, radio, fiber optics or combinations of several of these transmission types tailored to the local conditions. In this way, the CPS can guarantee fast, flexible and up-to-date communication with guests. Optionally, external information sources such as weather services, tourism associations, authorities, etc. can also be integrated via XML interfaces, which can further expand the information available to guests.
Thanks to the CPS control system, guests receive clearly visible, up-to-date information on lift/slope status, weather data, safety and potential hazards, gastronomy, events, available parking spaces and much more at all times and at all locations via the LED modules.
In combination with the digital signage software "easescreen", text, image and (live) video content from various sources can also be compiled quickly and easily via the CPS control system and displayed flexibly and up-to-date on all networked digital signage systems and LED video walls.
Thanks to the fast and reliable transmission and good visibility of the information, the CPS control system contributes to comprehensive, location-independent communication in real time and thus to the optimization of guest flow control, better orientation and increased safety in ski resorts and summer mountain regions.
