Digital guest information at the highest level: LED cash desk system in Zauchensee

Real-time information at the central cash desk touchpoint

At the start of the season, seven LED walls with a total area of around 20 m² were installed in the ticket office area of the World Cup Arena in the Zauchensee ski resort. They provide guests with clear and attractive information about tickets, price lists, events, bus connections and live images from the ski area.
The central location makes it possible to provide guests with all relevant information in an up-to-date, dynamic and visually appealing way at a glance before they even touch the lift.

Central control for maximum up-to-dateness and flexibility

A key highlight of the project is the complete integration of the LED cash register displays, the CPS (Computer Panorama System) and the digital signage software from feratel. All content - from lift and slope status to weather, webcams and events - is controlled centrally and shown synchronously in real time on all relevant displays throughout the ski resort.
This digital networking enables the mountain railroads to communicate with their guests on a daily basis, depending on the situation, while at the same time significantly reducing administrative costs.

Part of a holistic information concept in the ski area

The new LED ticket office system is also part of a comprehensive sitour information network in Zauchensee. A total of 14 digital systems - from digital signage banner systems to panorama boards with LED legends and panorama information systems with LED lettering and LED spots in the panorama image through to information screens - are in use at the valley and mountain stations, central collection points on the slopes, at the parking garage and bus info point.
The result is a comprehensive information system that ensures a high level of orientation, safety and service quality throughout the entire ski area.

Customized LED information solutions from sitour

The project was realized in close cooperation between sitour and Bergbahnen Zauchensee and builds on the existing digital information solutions in the ski resort.
The new LED cash desk system once again demonstrates sitour's strength: customized, flexibly adaptable digital signage LED information solutions for mountain railroads that provide guests with targeted information, create orientation and sustainably increase service quality.
