Illustrations: more visibility, clear orientation
sitour expands panoramic maps with individually illustrated icons - for even better orientation and guest information in summer mountain regions
As Austria's largest glacier ski area, the Stubai Glacier is one of the country's top winter sports destinations. Guests appreciate the guaranteed snow, vastness and professional organization. The Stubai Glacier is regarded as the economic engine of the Stubaital and an example of how tourism, quality and innovation go hand in hand.
As part of the modernization, all information and guidance systems were graphically revised and adapted to the orange-grey design of the Stubai Glacier. The new look ensures a uniform, clear and modern appearance, from the valley station to the highest point of the ski area.
Over the past few months, sitour has installed completely new access portals at 14 locations and extensively revised 20 ski slope guidance systems. Six of these systems have also been equipped with LED modules that display the open/closed status of the respective piste or ski route in real time for optimum visibility.
The Panorama Info Systems and Freeride Checkpoints have also been modernized with high-quality stretched canvas panoramas and one freeride system has been optimized by integrating a piste guidance system with LED display to create a multifunctional information point.
2,500 new ski slope and ski route markings complete the infrastructure, ensuring seamless orientation and safety throughout the ski area.
Glacier visitors benefit from intuitive routing through the ski area, clear information and high visibility thanks to LED displays, even in difficult weather and light conditions. All systems can be controlled centrally and provide up-to-date information on the piste and ski route status, weather conditions, infrastructure and safety, depending on the location.
For a modern, safe and brand-strong appearance of ski resorts and summer mountain regions, sitour offers you customized information, orientation and safety solutions with decades of expertise and experience.
