Modern guest information in Brandnertal

The new construction of the Loischkopfbahn in Vorarlberg's Brandnertal is an important step in the further development of the skiing, hiking and biking region as an attractive vacation and leisure destination. Parallel to the new 10-passenger gondola lift, the guest information at the valley, middle and mountain stations has been rethought: three digital signage panorama information systems with HD LCD screens link orientation, safety and operational organization more closely together. The modern information systems were planned and implemented by sitour and feratel.

Analog overview combined with digital real-time information

The new panorama information systems combine classic overviews with real-time data. The winter and summer panoramic maps on stretched fabric and the integrated LED spots can be quickly and cost-effectively converted to suit the season. They are supplemented by 75-inch screens that make current operating and safety information immediately visible. Slope and lift status, closures, notices and other operating data are received automatically and curated via the screen editor. The mountain railroads can upload content independently, from live webcam images to specific service information. The result is an information and orientation system that focuses on both operations and guests.

For the mountain railroads, this is more than just a technical update: it is a building block in the strategic development of a high-quality, future-proof service that can be used all year round. The clear, flexible and robust panorama information systems provide clear, up-to-date and therefore reliable information for guests and support the mountain railway company in raising safety, orientation and service to a contemporary level.

sitour - orientation, information and safety from a single source

Today, mountain railroads no longer focus solely on optimizing transport performance and comfort, but also on modern guest communication. What is needed is orientation, information and safety, preferably in real time. The panorama information systems from sitour/feratel show how analog overview and digital control can be combined into a reliable system that shows guests the way and supports high-quality, future-oriented mountain railway operations.
